What a Short is for (and what it isn't)
A Short is a vertical video that YouTube feeds you one after another. Since October 2024 they can run up to three minutes, but the point hasn't changed: one idea, one chart or one warning that lands before you swipe to the next. Cripto Adicto's channel has 85 of them, published between March 2025 and August 2026.
Used well, they're genuinely useful. Used badly, they're a fast way to lose money. The difference lies in what you expect from them.
What a Short does give you
- A snapshot of the market at a specific moment: the level being watched, the pattern on the chart (a head and shoulders, a double top, a wedge) and where it would point if confirmed.
- An idea to chew on: FOMO, time versus money, why investing is more boring than you were sold.
- A warning that can't wait: a fake app in an official store, or a flaw in a cold wallet.
- A way in: almost every topic has a long video or a guide on this site behind it.
What it doesn't give you
- Your context. A minute doesn't know how much you have, how much you can afford to lose or how long you're investing for.
- Risk management. There's rarely room for where the scenario breaks down, what position size makes sense or what you do if it goes wrong.
- Shelf life. A price level from February is worthless in October. The market moves; the video stays put.

average views for a Short and for a long video
The average Short gets three times the views of a long video, yet the real explanation lives in the long ones. That's the paradox of the format: it pulls in lots of people with very little context. These are the ten most-watched:
Look at the podium: the two most-watched Shorts are about ONDO and price targets, and both date from 2025. The three Shorts devoted entirely to ONDO add up to 7,829 views, almost one in ten of all Shorts views. What gets watched most isn't necessarily what helps you most, and at the end of this page you'll find where the full analysis of each topic lives.

All 85 Shorts, sorted by topic
Shorts titles are loud (that's the format), so it pays to group them by what they're really about. This breakdown was done by hand from each one's title and description:
The most striking figure sits at the very bottom. The four security Shorts are the least watched, at 384 views on average, and probably the ones that can save you the most money. If you only watch a handful, start with those.

Quick Bitcoin reads: how to watch them without getting burned
Nearly four in ten Shorts are chart reads: a triangle breaking, a rising wedge, resistance at $72,000, the 200-period moving average, a Fibonacci retracement. They're great for learning how to look at a chart. Used as a clock for buying or selling, they're dangerous.
Here's an example from 2026. On February 14 one Short asked whether Bitcoin would break $72,000 and flip the trend; the next day another drew the two possible paths, $80,000 or $60,000; on February 17 a third asked whether $40,000 was on the cards. Three scenarios in four days. That's not a contradiction; it's what any analyst does when price sits in a decision zone. But watch them one at a time, weeks later, and each one looks like a prediction.
- 01
Check the date
Before the chart. A level from six months ago is history, not a clue.
- 02
Find the timeframe
A 4-hour candle doesn't carry the same weight as a weekly one. The channel says so itself in one of its long videos: the higher the timeframe, the more reliable the read.
- 03
Write down what would invalidate it
Every scenario has a level that kills it. If the Short doesn't say, find it yourself before you do anything.
- 04
Follow the thread
Many chart Shorts are clips from a longer analysis. The Bitcoin and altcoin analysis section has the full videos, week by week.
If you've never read a chart, the technical analysis guide explains support, resistance and patterns without jargon, along with their limits, and there are plenty of those.

Altcoins in vertical: ONDO, Chainlink and AI coins
Altcoins pull in 16,047 views from just twelve Shorts, 1,337 on average. ONDO and Chainlink take almost all of it: in 2025 you'll see targets like $3, $5 or $10 for ONDO and $27, $85 or $100 for Chainlink. In the channel's most-watched Short, from May 2025, the plan described is to sell half at $2.80 and hold the rest for $5 or $10.
What's valuable in that Short isn't the number, it's the idea: have an exit plan before you get in. A price target is a scenario with an expiry date; selling in tranches is a tool that works in any market. To judge whether a project deserves a place in your portfolio, a minute isn't enough. ONDO and Chainlink each get a full episode in the Entiende Cripto series (Spanish for “understand crypto”), covering where they came from, how they work and what their risks are.
Two more Shorts round out the group. “Top Criptomonedas de IA” (top AI cryptos) sums up an idea that the long video on artificial intelligence coins develops at length, and there the verdict is harsh: 95% of them are pure hype. And “Por qué los principiantes pierden en altcoins” (why beginners lose money on altcoins) gets straight to the point: many look cheap and never return to their highs, while Bitcoin is a protocol, not a company, and has survived every crisis so far.

DCA, buy zones and exit plans
Eleven Shorts revolve around two questions: when to buy and when to sell. For the first, the answer that comes up most often isn't a date, it's a method. “¿Adivino o inversor profesional?” (fortune-teller or professional investor?) puts it this way: most people hunt for the bottom and few ever find it; with DCA you buy the dips and you're already in when the rallies come.
DCA (dollar-cost averaging, which simply means buying the same amount at regular intervals) has nothing magical about it. It's arithmetic, and it's easiest to see with made-up prices (in euros, since the channel is based in Spain):
Because you buy more units when the price is low, your average cost ends up below the average price. Now for the part that doesn't fit in a Short: if the price keeps falling for years, DCA won't save you; it only spreads the hit. The Bitcoin DCA guide explains how to set it up and where its limits are.
The rest of the group covers buy zones (cycles, Fibonacci and moving averages in “Mejores momentos para comprar Bitcoin”, the best times to buy Bitcoin), the idea that time in the market beats guessing the bottom, and two Shorts about selling: an exit plan so you don't get trapped when the market turns, and a strategy for taking profits without letting greed call the shots.
There's even one, “Mil Euros Cripto” (a thousand euros in crypto), describing a split of €1,000 a month: €400 in Bitcoin, €300 in Ethereum, €150 in Solana and €150 in Chainlink. The title calls the strategy “segura y rentable” (safe and profitable); nothing in crypto is safe, so treat it as an example of weighting a portfolio, not as a template. Your split depends on your risk tolerance and your time horizon, and the risk management guide helps you work it out.

Mindset: FOMO, investing in yourself and time you don't get back
The mindset Shorts age the best, because they don't depend on price. The bluntest one says it in the title: FOMO loses you more money than the market does. Another, from April 2026, urged viewers not to buy into the “bull run is back” narrative while confirmations on the RSI and the weekly close were still missing.
A common thread runs through several of them. Investing is slower and more boring than you were sold (“Te han engañado con la inversión”, you've been misled about investing). Time, once it's gone, doesn't come back (“No recuperes tu tiempo”). And the one asset nobody can take from you is you (“Invierte en ti”, invest in yourself). In “Inversión: ¿tiempo o dinero?” (time or money?) two profiles are compared up to age 60, the one who starts earlier and the one who invests more, and the takeaway is that time carries enormous weight.
Rounding out the group: one on what he would do in a recession, another on why the people around you hold you back when you talk about investing (because they were afraid themselves), and one from April 2025 that's pure irony: three “foolproof tips” that are really the three classic ways to go broke, namely extreme leverage, borrowing grandma's money and going all in on dog coins. If it makes you laugh, good. If you recognize yourself, even better, because that's the whole point.

Tokenization and smart contracts, in vertical
In April 2026 the channel put out a batch of Shorts on tokenization. The idea: turning art, gold or stakes in private companies into digital fractions anyone can buy, without the usual minimums. Another Short names four pieces of that infrastructure (Ethereum, Solana, Chainlink and Ondo Finance), and yet another covers Chainlink's arrival on the Amazon Web Services marketplace.
The most serious definition comes from the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the central banks' bank: tokenization is the process of recording claims on real or financial assets that exist on a traditional ledger onto a programmable platform. In plain English, the asset still exists off-chain; what moves onto the blockchain is the claim on it, with rules that execute themselves.
And here's the nuance a minute can't give you: what you buy with a token isn't always the same as the asset. Ondo, for example, explains in its documentation that its tokenized stocks give you economic exposure to the share but no voting rights, and that they generally trade 24 hours a day, five days a week, with exceptions. Before buying anything tokenized, ask who issues it, exactly what right it gives you and whether it's actually offered where you live; if you're in Spain or elsewhere in the EU, check that point specifically.
The smart contracts Short completes the picture: loans and insurance that execute themselves, with no middleman. That's the foundation for everything above, and EP.02 of Entiende Cripto, on Ethereum, explains it from scratch.

Security: the fake Ledger app, the Coldcard flaw and mixers
Four Shorts, few views and expensive lessons. The first is about a fake Ledger app that made it into the App Store. The documented 2026 case happened in April: according to BleepingComputer, a fake “Ledger Live” for Mac, uploaded by a publisher called Leva Heal Limited, asked for the recovery phrase and drained about $9.5 million from around 50 victims before Apple pulled it. Ledger doesn't distribute its Mac app through the App Store, only from its own website.
The lesson is uncomfortable: not even the official store is a guarantee. The factsheet on crypto frauds and scams published by ESMA lists among its warning signs any request to share private keys or seed phrases, and any invitation to download an app. Your seed phrase belongs on paper or metal, kept away from every screen. If an app asks for it to “sync” or “verify” something, close the app.
The second is the Coldcard exploit of summer 2026, and its title sums it up: it wasn't the chip, it was the seed. According to Coinkite's official notice, the devices weren't hacked remotely. A firmware bug generated seeds with far less randomness than they should have had (on Mk4, Mk5 and Q, about 72 bits instead of 128), and attackers rebuilt the keys without ever touching the hardware. Analytics firm TRM Labs put the theft at over $100 million. If you own a Coldcard:
- 01
Check which firmware created your seed
The version you run today doesn't matter; the one installed when you generated the seed does. Updating doesn't fix a seed that already exists.
- 02
Compare it with the notice
Affected: Mk2 and Mk3 from 4.0.1 to 4.1.9; Mk4 and Mk5 before 5.6.0 (Edge, before 6.6.0X); Q before 1.5.0Q (Edge, before 6.6.0QX).
- 03
Review the exceptions
If you added at least 50 fair, private dice rolls, Coinkite doesn't consider the seed at risk from this bug. A strong BIP-39 passphrase adds a barrier, but it doesn't repair the seed.
- 04
Migrate calmly
Fixed firmware, new seed, verified backup, test transaction, and only then the rest. Rushing here can cost you more than the bug itself.
The third explains mixers: services that take in coins from many users, mix them and send them back out to break the trail between source and destination. The Short warns that they're not foolproof, and history backs it up: in 2022 the US Treasury sanctioned Tornado Cash, an Ethereum mixer it accused of laundering more than $7 billion since 2019, although it removed the sanctions in March 2025. For you, the practical takeaway is simpler: if someone asks you to run funds through a mixer “for safety”, be suspicious, because it's a classic scam signal and can land you in legal trouble. The fourth Short, “Estafas Cripto: ¡No seas la próxima víctima!” (crypto scams: don't be the next victim), frames anonymity plus greed as the perfect storm.
